SVEEP: Cultural, musical performances encourage Suchetgarh border voters

JAMMU, September 29: A mega Systematic Voter Education and Voter Participation Program (SVEEP) was organized today at Suchetgarh International Border, an important and popular destination in Suchetgarh Assembly constituency. The event aimed to raise voter awareness and participation in the upcoming elections, particularly targeting voters residing in the border belt.

Special performances by singers Juhi Singh, Vanshika Jaral and Punjabi artist Sangram Hanjra were the highlights of the event. Their patriotic songs encouraged voters to participate in the legislative elections, instilling in them a sense of responsibility and love for the nation.
The event also included cultural artifacts and a voter outreach skit presented by local school students.
District Election Officer Sachin Kumar Vaishya addressed the gathering, urging all eligible voters to exercise their right to vote on October 1, 2024. He highlighted the role of voters in strengthening democracy and called for active participation in the electoral process.
An airship was also launched on this occasion to raise awareness among voters. A similar airship was launched the other day in Bishna under SVEEP.
Present at the event were ADDC Jammu Sher Singh, ADC Shishir Gupta, ACD Jammu/SVEEP Nodal Officer Dr Vikas Sharma, RO Suchetgarh Dr Rajesh Kumar and RO RS Pura-Jammu South Seema Parihar, alongside senior officers of BSF. All participants echoed the call for greater voter participation to strengthen the democratic process.
