Jerry Reinsdorf of the White Sox wrote a pathetic statement in which he promised to fix the team

With the most losses in a single season in MLB history, the 2024 Chicago White Sox may be the worst professional baseball team ever. To make matters worse, they have been neglected, mismanaged and have already promised that almost no help will come beyond the 2025 season.

But owner Jerry Reinsdorf – certainly the biggest villain in Chicago sports these days – seems to think people still want to hear what he has to say.

Wrong, wrong, evil.

During the fourth quarter of a close Chicago Bears game, Reinsdorf issued a personal written statement approximately eight paragraphs long. In it, he promised to help the team move forward after an embarrassing year, but I won’t lie. This is just a guess because no one with functioning brain cells wants to read this man’s tract because the city’s actual primary sports culture (the Bears) tried to secure victory:

Reinsdorf’s ego thinking people would want to read so much about what he has to say at any given moment, let alone a Bears game. That alone should tell you that nothing significant will change moving forward for the White Sox. His words are beyond empty.
