Tripura CM Saha attends blood donation camp

Agartala (Tripura) (India), September 28 (ANI): Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Friday took part in two blood donation camps, one at Vivekananda Biyamagar on Gangail Road and the other in Ramnagar area, organized on the occasion of the inauguration of seven Ramnagar offices Mandala.

During his speech, Prime Minister Saha stressed the importance of community involvement in ensuring a constant supply of blood. β€œTo prevent shortages, it is extremely important that both men and women come forward and donate,” he said. He assured participants that donating blood is safe and beneficial, noting that the body replenishes donated blood within three months.

Saha further called on all citizens, irrespective of their religious background, to participate in the noble cause. He discussed various aspects of blood donation, emphasizing its importance in saving lives and building a sense of unity in society.

The Prime Minister’s message resonated with many as officials and volunteers gathered to encourage widespread participation in future blood donation festivals.

Earlier this month, a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 74th birthday, Maharani Tulsibati Welfare Trust organized a huge blood donation camp at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Yuba Abas in Agartala.

Prime Minister Manik Saha addressed the gathering, highlighting various initiatives of the Prime Minister and discussing the importance of blood donation.

The event commemorated the Prime Minister’s birthday on September 17 and emphasized the key role of voluntary blood donation in saving lives. The camp received an enthusiastic response from the community, expressing solidarity and support for this noble cause.

CM Saha also attended a blood donation camp organized on the occasion of Prime Minister Modi’s birthday by the Banamalipur Mandate Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party at the Nazrul Kalakshetra Auditorium in the city.

He also appreciated Prime Minister Modi’s initiatives to improve healthcare, education and infrastructure, urging participants to support these programs to drive progress in the region. (OR)
