The deadline for Jazz Fest 2025 applications is approaching! The 2025 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festivalpresented by Shell, will take place over two weekends: April 24 – 27 And May 1 – 4, 2025, officially accepting applications until OCTOBER 1, 2024. With its rich tradition of celebrating Louisiana’s diverse musical and cultural heritage, the festival provides a unique platform for local artists to showcase their talents on the world stage.

The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, organized by the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation, has been instrumental in promoting and preserving Louisiana’s vibrant music, arts and culture. Each year, approximately 85% of artists are local musicians, reflecting the festival’s mission to support the cultural fabric of the region.

Artists from across Louisiana are encouraged to apply for the 2025 lineup. application window is open from July 1 – October 1, 2024and submissions can be made online. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or an emerging talent, this is your chance to perform alongside some of the most iconic names in music at one of the biggest festivals in the world.

The festival is known for its eclectic mix of genres, from jazz and blues to gospel, R&B, rock and folk, ensuring a diverse lineup that showcases the best of Louisiana’s musical traditions. In addition to live music, the event also features craft, food and culture exhibitions, making it a must-see for fans and artists.
