A march in Moorhead to highlight the case of a boy who died in suspicious circumstances

Moorhead, Minn. – About two dozen people took part in a three-mile march through Moorhead on Tuesday morning (June 18) to bring attention to the case of a three-year-old boy who died 90 days ago under suspicious circumstances.

The boy’s uncle, Katterius Reams, was among family members meeting with police and says: “They just told us to be patient. …We don’t blame the Moorhead police for anything. We know they help us and stay in touch with us, but we wanted to make sure they knew and still heard the voice of my nephew(s).

Eastyn Deronjic was found not breathing in the apartment and died in late March at a Fargo hospital.

The police said that the boy and his siblings were being cared for by a friend of his parents.

While they wait for the autopsy results, they say there is nothing new to say.
