Damian Lillard asked GloRilla a question during Bucks media day

Damian Lillard had quite a shock this past Monday during Bucks media day.

While answering questions from reporters at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Lillard was asked about the moment rapper GloRilla shot with him during February’s NBA All-Star weekend.

The Bucks point guard who laughed when asked, “Do you make that play?” — explained that nothing was going on between him and the “Wanna Be” artist.

“I am weak. It’s funny,” Lillard said. “No… you know, I keep my personal life and let it stay that way.

“I respect her as an artist. Do we know each other. She is an artist. I am an artist.

“But as far as anything goes, nothing is happening. That’s what I can tell you.”

Lillard, also a rapper, handled this odd moment well.

A Bucks employee standing at the podium overseeing the press conference laughed as well.

The reporter then rapped the lyrics to Glo Rilli’s song “TGIF.”

GloRilla, whose real name is Gloria Hallelujah Woods, sent the Internet into a frenzy when she posted a photo with Lillard at the NBA All-Star festivities earlier this year.

“Whoever she is, she can’t outshout me so I’m really dgaf,” GloRilla wrote on X at the time.

Lillard, the 2024 All-Star Game MVP, replied he had “no comment” when asked about the matter by TMZ in March.

GloRilla then acted coy when Shannon Sharpe asked her about her apparent pursuit of Lillard in April.

“You bought the most Steph Curry shots, did it sink in?” Sharpe said during an interview with GloRilla on his “Club Shay Shay” podcast.

“Half-court shot? Eventually the day will end,” she said with a laugh.

GloRilla’s post about Lillard comes after he filed for divorce from his wife Kay’La on October 2, 2023, after two years of marriage.

His divorce filing also came less than a week after he was traded from the Trail Blazers to the Bucks after 11 seasons in Portland.

The college sweethearts, who married in 2021, have three children: son Damian Jr., 5, and 3-year-old twins, daughter Kali and son Kalia.

Back in April, Kay’La mocked GloRilla’s DUI arrest in Gwinnett County, Georgia.

She then retweeted a photo of GloRilla, with the caption “FreeGloLillard” with a crying laughing emoji and the hashtag “sister wife.”

The Bucks will open the season against the 76ers in Philadelphia on October 23.
