Qingdao, a welcoming coastal city, attracts international students from countries such as Russia, India and Ukraine, who come to study a variety of subjects, including Chinese, theater and medicine. Immersing themselves in local traditions, they learn martial arts and taste Tsingtao beer.

For many of them, the city becomes a second home, between academic pursuit and cultural discovery. From strolling along the scenic coastlines to exploring the bustling Old Town, these students cultivate friendships that can last a lifetime. Weekend walks at the beach or leisurely afternoons at local cafes provide a refreshing balance to their rigorous studies, fostering a sense of belonging in this foreign country.

As graduation nears, their aspirations take shape: some dream of pursuing a career in medicine or engineering, while others seek to bridge cultural divides through language and art. Having formed strong connections and experienced personal growth through their cultural exchanges, many choose to stay in this dynamic city. Every corner of this city is infused with the dreams and hopes of those who choose to call it home, if only for a little while.
